I purchased my first property, a single family home at a garage sale for $7,500.00 that was the beginning of my obsession for real estate. Fast forward only six years later –  I owned and managed 55 residential units plus I worked full time (40 hours + per week) at a local manufacturing company; where did I get all that energy?

I ended up owning over 100 units and later nearly 500,000 sq. feet of commercial / industrial properties in Grand Rapids, Muskegon and Holland. Guess what I was still working full time at the same job during all this!

Oh and get this, about 12 years later, I purchased the manufacturing company I worked for during all those years of property investing. Hmmm… from lowest guy on the ladder to president / owner in only 15 years – not bad!

Lots of things have changed during that time but one thing remained the same – you can create wealth through proper investing in real estate!
